Hollywood International Film Festival (HIFF)

The Hollywood International Film Festival (HIFF) is an independent, international film festival established to support global cinema, creative diversity, and innovative storytelling. The festival is organized as a physical event and holds Gold Event status.

Your films are viewed only by the festival team. All films are carefully reviewed by the festival management.

HIFF is organized by Dras Film Universal Inc., a U.S.-based company established in the state of New Jersey.

By bringing independent cinema and world cinema together on a single digital platform, HIFF aims to provide filmmakers with international visibility, global engagement, and industry awareness.

At the same time, by enabling the discovery of films that have not yet been released, we aim to provide intermediary services for theatrical distribution in Turkey, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Pakistan, and Malaysia for films that we believe have distribution potential.

We do not guarantee distribution; however, our goal is to present films that we consider suitable for distribution to distributors in those countries.

The use of the term “Hollywood” in the festival’s name does not imply any geographical or institutional affiliation. Instead, it symbolically represents the creative vision, inspirational power, and universal storytelling standards of the global film industry.

This festival was launched at the end of 2025 by filmmaker and producer Yunus Şevik, who has over 20 years of experience in the cinema industry worldwide. Throughout his career, he has received nearly 100 awards in many countries across America, Europe, and Asia. He has also successfully distributed and marketed his films internationally, ensuring their theatrical release in various regions around the world.

As the festival director, his main purpose in founding this festival was to open new paths and opportunities for independent filmmakers who are just beginning their journey in the industry.

Mission Vision

The mission of HIFF is to celebrate the universal power of audiovisual arts by providing filmmakers, screenwriters, and musicians with visibility, creative expression, and international promotional opportunities.
The festival approaches cinema, screenwriting, and music as complementary creative disciplines that enrich one another. Within the scope of this festival, we aim to use the festival as a bridge to explore and support films we discover, and to work toward screening them in cinemas across Turkey, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Iraq, Malaysia, Pakistan, and other countries in Asia and the Middle East.

HIFF aims to create an accessible, global, and sustainable showcase for creative projects.

Our festival team is managed by a strong and experienced staff. Our active team, with nearly 20 years of experience in the Turkish cinema industry, is organized by our festival founder, director, and producer Yunus Sevik. Our festival staff also includes professional film music composers, screenwriters, and experienced industry professionals.

We aim to create a professional system where you can present and showcase your work effectively.

HIFF is not only a screening festival but also an industry-focused digital interaction space.
Festival activities include:
• Physical screenings will be held for the winning films (they will be screened at Biletinial cinemas).
• Screenplay and project pitches
• Digital networking
HIFF seeks not only to have projects watched, but also heard, read, and discovered.

Distribution Opportunity

Our festival event will be held in Europe, in Istanbul, at Biletinial.com cinemas. Since we have a strong distribution network in Turkey, we are organizing the event in Turkey. Our aim is to create opportunities for the distribution of films we believe in—especially films that have not been screened in cinemas before—in Turkey as well as in Asian and Middle Eastern countries such as Azerbaijan, Egypt, Pakistan, Malaysia, and Iraq.
We do not guarantee distribution, but our goal is to explore collaboration opportunities for projects we believe in. Since we have previous experience and business partners in these countries, we decided to focus on this field.
